This rattan baby basket is skilfully made from grade A rattan and is a little roomier than other changing baskets.  These baskets look stunning in a nursery setting and are gender neutral due to their natural appearance. Finished in a water based varnish, they are non toxic but can be showered down or wiped if things get a little messy. It doesn’t end there, these baskets are usable in various ways once your little one no longer needs a nappy change. They sit well on top of a cupboard or under a bed as a storage basket or as a shallow toy basket once your child is on the move. With a solid plywood base, these are the strongest and most hard wearing of our changing baskets.

All Fern baskets come without mattress as standard in case you are wanting to add your own padding/bedding. There is the option to add a mattress pad with a pvc removable cover or it you prefer a little colour why not choose one of our changing pads in grey mist or light coral. We have mattress protectors and sheets also available to add extra protection and comfort. If you like the tassel in the photos make sure to select the Fern Changing Basket with tassel.

If choosing the pad included, the pad is made in UK and adheres to British safety standards. The pad is a 2.5cm deep foam with a waterproof pvc cover.

Changing baskets are shallow and not safe for sleeping, Never leave an infant unattended in a changing basket.
All tassels and added decoration must be tied on securely with all loose ends to be on the outside of the basket. Pompoms are decoration only and must not be in reach of infants and small children.
